Business Law

Business law encompasses matters related to a client's business; including, among other things, choosing the appropriate business entity and establishing a corporate structure to maximize tax benefits and limit personal liability in connection with the debts and obligations of the business. Business law includes the law of contract negotiation, contract formation, and dispute resolution. In many cases forming a business also requires state and federal licensing or permission to conduct business in a certain manner or specific trade.
